In the lesson about soil, students will:

    • Watch the short video (below) about soil that is brought to you by Three Rivers Park District. This video highlights what makes soil, provides the steps needed to complete a soil test in your neighborhood, and introduces an animal that spends most of its life in soil.  
    • Use the soil activity to draw animals that live in the soil and complete the soil test near your home.
