Primary Grades: Trees

In the lesson about trees, students will:

• Watch the short video (below) about trees that is brought to you by Three Rivers Park District.This video highlights the parts of a tree, why trees are important, and what humans make from trees.   
• Use the scavenger hunt below to classify the trees in your neighborhood or yard.

Trees Scavenger Hunt:

Use the Trees Scavenger Hunt doc to go on a scavenger hunt in your yard or neighborhood. In the scavenger hunt, students accomplish the challenge put forward by Mr Brett.
