Primary Grades: Insects Lesson

In the lesson about insects, students will:

    • Watch the short video (below) about insects that is brought to you by Three Rivers Park District. This video highlights the 3 important jobs that insects have, what makes an insect an insect, and where many common insects can be found.  
    • Use the Insect Journal while going on a scavenger hunt in their home, yard, and neighborhood. In the journal, students note where they found their insect and what the insect looks like.
