Intermediate Elementary Lesson: Seed Dispersal – Bluum

In the lesson about seed dispersal, students will:

Watch the short video (below) about seed dispersal that is brought to you by Three Rivers Park District. This video introduces the parts of a flower, explains pollination, shows various types of seed dispersal methods including wind, fruit, hitchhiking, water, and animals.
Use the seed dispersal activity to draw and describe the 4 different ways seeds can travel. Then students will go on a seed scavenger hunt.
