SMART Board 600 and 800 Series, solid red LED status indicator lights

Status light is solid red

- Check all cable connections

- The USB cable must not exceed 16'

- Reset the board by using the Reset Button
800 Series - underneath the pen tray or re-seating the power cable on the back of the pen tray
600 Series - reset button is located on the lower right edge of the board on the controller, press the blue button for two seconds and release

- Re-seat the USB cable at both the computer and board

- Try a different USB port on the computer

- Try a different known working computer

- Confirm projector is on the proper input and confirm USB mapping is correct for the set up (in projector menu the USB section has an associated video inputs i.e. USB 1 = VGA 1)
