SETUP: Classroom Stream Settings

To change your Stream settings in Google Classroom, complete the following steps:

1. Enter a class in Google Classroom
2. Select the gear icon in the upper right-hand corner of the screen
3. Scroll to Classwork on the stream and choose the down arrow. You will see three options for managing your Stream
1. Show attachments and details: Students can view announcements, questions, and assignments with attachments
2. Show condensed notifications: Students can view a condensed version of announcements, questions, and assignments
3. Hide notifications: Students can only view announcements
4. After selecting an option, click Save

*We recommend giving the Stream tab a purpose and use it for announcements only; therefore, you would choose the Hide notifications option.
