Classroom Use Suggestions:
- Use the Q-Chart after a reading assignment to help students come up with high-quality questions about the text.
- Watch a video, and use the Q-Chart to generate reflection questions.
- Ask students to come up with questions after a lecture, presentation, or activity using the Q-Chart.
- Use the chart to come up with interview questions.
- Ask students to write their own essay question prompts using the chart, and then distribute their questions so that a few other students spend time answering.
